Curtains Up Night

Join us for a special evening of theatre on Saturday 19thth July, featuring a variety of short per-

formances – from monologues and comedy to poetry, short plays and musical numbers. This is a

great opportunity to showcase your talents or try something new!

Were looking for polished, self-directed pieces performed by members of TADS. If you would

like to take part, whether by directing, or bringing a group together the contact Alison and Tiz

Make sure to include your idea, cast members and running time.

The evening will be hosted by Alison and Tiz, in character, and we are aiming for a varied and

entertaining mix of performances.

As we already have 2 musical sections organised (the Salty Sea Dogs and the TADS children)

were particularly keen to include other formats as described above

KEY INFO:

Deadline to submit your idea...10th June

You will need to rehearse independently

Be able to commit to a dress rehearsal on Friday 18th July

You will need to provide any props, simple set pieces yourself although TADS will reimburse for any purchases as long as they are run by the chairperson first before purchase

Once we’ve received submissions we will create a balanced running order.

Lets make this a fun and different night of theatre for the village – perfect for experimenting,

sharing new pieces, or just having a go at something creative we can’t wait to see what we can

bring to the stage
